|Description:||The Activity Specialist works with a team to support adults with developmental disabilities in making a positive difference in their lives by:|
Assisting with daily living skills
Teaching skills and modeling behavior to improve independence and responsible behavior
Implementing activities that are functional, person-centered, community inclusive and age appropriate
Actively working with a diverse population of individuals with varying levels of skills and needs
Assuring individuals receiving services are the focus of each days activities
Helping to make our clients laugh and smile is a must! This is not a sit behind a desk and do the same thing everyday job! We support adults with unique needs that vary on many different levels, so being able to model appropriate behavior as well as being able to assist with all aspects of daily living (feeding, restroom use, and behavior support) is a must.

Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check.
Must be at least 21 years of age and provide a valid driver's license/auto insurance.
Must have less than four points on a driving license.
